Why this matters
Zoning decides what can legally happen at an address.
Signing a lease for a space not zoned for your use is one of the most expensive mistakes a small business makes, and it is usually discovered after the money is spent. The point of this step is to move that discovery earlier.
Before you start
Have the property address, the Assessor Parcel Number if you have it, and a clear description of your intended use.
