Verified in good standing with Secretary of State and regulators

How this closesHand in your document — Submitting it closes this step. We keep a copy for your record — we never file or submit anything for you.

Why this matters

Good standing means the state considers your entity active and compliant: filings current, fees paid.

Lenders, public buyers and primes check it before contracting, and many applications are rejected outright on a suspended status. Entities can fall out of good standing simply by missing a Statement of Information filing, which is easy to overlook. Not yet confirmed by LAEDC.

Before you start

Have your entity name and Secretary of State file number. Checking status is free; ordering a certificate carries a small fee. Current fee not yet confirmed by LAEDC.

The rest of this step is for LAEDC clients
